Rockslide on U.S. Highway 40 on March 28

Photo detail

Tim Dickerson, front, and Andy Meadow use a blast cap to break a large rock into smaller pieces as Colorado Department of Transportation cleaned up a rockslide on U.S. Highway 40 on Monday afternoon. The slide, which happened at about 8 a.m., closed the highway for more than 2 hours. The highway was limited to one lane for most of the day as crews worked to clean up a large section of rock that had fallen on to the road.
