Justin Hayes works Wednesday night to paint a mural on the east granary warehouse at Yampa Valley Feeds in Hayden. He wanted to paint something that represented what Hayden is to him.
Justin Hayes works on his mural Wednesday night on the wall of a granary warehouse at Yampa Valley Feeds. Because Hayes works as a carpenter during the day, he can only paint in the evenings and on weekends.
Hayes has been working on the mural since Aug. 26. He hopes to finish today.
Justin Hayes used only three colors to create the beiges, oranges and browns of the mural he's painting in Hayden.
