Ute exhibit at Tread of Pioneers Museum

The intricate beadwork on these gauntlets is thought to have been created by a Northern Ute tribe member on the Uintah Reservation, and was given to James H. Crawford and Margaret Crawford during a visit to Utah in the early 1900s.
