Rocky Mountain Airways Flight 217 crashed on Buffalo Pass, northeast of Steamboat Springs. This image was shot Friday from a plane flown by Matt Kotts, who survived the crash as an infant. The power lines the plane hit run down the bare patch in the middle of the photo. The plane landed toward the top of the pass.
