Emergency responders work at the scene of a two-car crash Tuesday morning on Hilltop Parkway near Falling Water Lane in Steamboat Springs. Steamboat Springs Police Department Sgt. Rich Brown said a 21-year-old man driving a Toyota Tacoma bent over while driving to pick up a CD and drifted into the oncoming lane, colliding head-on with a Mazda Crossover being driven by a 42-year-old woman. Both drivers were taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center with minor injuries. The driver of the Tacoma was given a citation for careless driving and for not wearing a seatbelt.
