Coffee roaster Eian Stamp watches as smoke rises off of coffee beans just out of the roaster. The next batch of beans is already waiting to be dropped into the roaster. Once the coffee beans are roasted they are put in a special cooling bin where they are kept in constant motion by automatic arms as the cool. This allows the beans to cool evenly and the holes in the bottom of the bin allow the beans shells to fall through, so that all that is left is the bean.
