Jordan Gollnick, right, rides up Mount Werner Circle on Sunday with Tommy Moore and Steph Seidl during the STARS Biking the Boat charity ride. "It was hard," she said, "but I pushed through it." She wasn't the only one to push through on a warm August morning. The event set attendance records with more than 200 riders. About half tackled the 55-mile ride, the day's longest, while about 70 more rode a 26-mile out-and-back version. The rest took on a 5-mile route in Steamboat Springs. Organizers were hoping to top the $25,000 the event pulled in for Steamboat Adaptive Recreational Sports. They surpassed that milestone easily. The counting wasn't done Sunday afternoon, but it was expected to approach $35,000.
