During a break in the rain Friday in Boulder, a woman walks along a footbridge over Boulder Creek near the University of Colorado campus. The creek was flowing at 5,260 cubic feet per second at noon Friday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The previous record for the date was 144 cfs recorded in 1993.
