Soroco Middle School student Kayla Lipsie emerges from a pile of foam after practicing a jump Wednesday at Excel Gymnastics in Steamboat Springs. Lipsie and a group of other students from South Routt went to the gym for a Partners in Routt County after-school program. There are 10 AmeriCorps volunteers working for Partners in Routt County who serve as mentors for school chidren. This week is AmeriCorps week.
