Soroco Middle School student Kayla Lipsie walks a low beam Wednesday at Excel Gymnastics in Steamboat Springs. Lipsie and a group of other students went to the gym as part of a Partners in Routt County after-school program. There are 10 AmeriCorps volunteers working for Partners in Routt County who serve as mentors for school chidren. This week is AmeriCorps week.
