Dancers Heidi Miller and Nicole LeDuc rehearse a piece for Steamboat Dance Theatre on Monday evening at Steamboat Springs High School. Performances are slated for Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. There also is a 12:30 p.m. matinee Saturday. Tickets are on sale online only at www.steamboatdancetheatre.org.

Steamboat Dance Theatre back for 41st year
For the second time in Dance Theatre history, there will be a piece with an all-male cast. Choreographer Roddy Beall recruited the dancers by going to parties and reaching out to athletic teams, which is appropriate considering Beall described the feeling before a performance as similar to "how it feels in a locker room before a game.”
