Steamboat Springs skier Mary O’Connell, now competing as a freshman for Dartmouth College, races in the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association Championships in February. O’Connell notched a second-place finish Thursday in the 5-kilometer classic event at the NCAA Skiing Championships.
