Tread of Pioneers Museum curator Katie Adams and board member Jim Peterson provide a preview of the vintage ski collection in the museum’s new climate-controlled collections building at 800 Oak St. The museum will welcome the public to an open house debuting expanded exhibit space and the collection building from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday. The event is free.

Tread of Pioneers celebrates grand reopening in expanded museum
There will be a buzz in the air at the Tread of Pioneers Museum during Saturday’s public open house to show off the more than $1 million museum expansion. In addition to the new digs, there are some eye-opening new items in the collection.
