Laurel Watson, curator of the Hayden Heritage Center, speaks Friday afternoon about the facts and lore behind the Brooklyn neighborhood during the Brown Bag Lunch Series at the Tread of Pioneers Museum in Steamboat Springs. Watson has spent years researching the area's tainted history and has written a book about documenting the stories behind many of the red-light districts in Colorado. Stories that are woven, for better or worse, into our town’s Western heritage.
