Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters respond to a two-car collision Friday morning near mile marker 128 on U.S. Highway 40 just west of Steamboat. A Chevy Tahoe was headed toward Steamboat, lost control around the corner and hit a Subaru Outback. The woman in the Subaru and and her 4-year-old daughter were evaluated for injuries but were not taken to the hospital. The driver of the Tahoe was given a summons to appear in court for careless driving causing bodily injury.
