J1 skier Gretchen Burkholder competes during the U.S. Cross-Country Nationals at Soldier Hollow, Utah, this weekend. Burkholder also will travel along with Weinman to Norway to train and compete with the U.S. Ski Team.

Steamboat Springs skiers score big at cross-country nationals
Several Steamboat-connected skiers earned trips overseas with their performances at the U.S. Cross-Country Nationals in Utah. Two others earned spots in the World Junior Cross-Country Championships later this month in the Czech Republic.
