Steamboat Springs tennis player Tatum Burger hits a winner Saturday during the USTA Intermountain 14-and-younger Sweetheart Tournament. Burger and partner Margot Shea, of Montana, won their doubles match, 8-5. The tournament brings in the top 32 boys and girls from Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana. It's the first time the Tennis Center at Steamboat Springs has hosted the event after lobbying for it for the past five years. The event began Saturday and runs through Tuesday, when the finals will be played. Burger is the only local player in the field.
