Rob Dean, a supervisor with the Colorado Department of Transportation, works in tandem with another driver while plowing U.S. Highway 40 on the top of Rabbit Ears Pass during one of this week's heavy snowstorms. Plow drivers often face dangerous conditions in an effort to clear roads, but they also take pride in keeping Rabbit Ears Pass open and safe for drivers through the winter months.
