An overturned SUV sits beside U.S. Highway 40 on Sunday morning, one of two rollover crashes on a short span of the highway. Sharon Lynch said she was the driver of the vehicle and had her 9-year-old daughter in the back seat. Lynch said she lost control when she hit a patch of ice. Both were left hanging in their seat belts but were unhurt and were thankful that other drivers stopped immediately to help. A Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue truck already was nearby and was on scene within several minutes.
