Bud Rogers and Brian Edwards paint the bell tower at a volunteer workday held last month by Historic Routt County at the Foidel Canyon Schoolhouse on Twentymile Road. More than 25 volunteers worked hard on the historic schoolhouse to further its restoration and enjoyed a BBQ provided by Peabody-Twentymile Coal LLC, who owns the property. Historic Routt County thanks all the volunters, H. E. Rogers Construction, Peabody Energy and the Historical Society of Oak Creek and Phippsburg for a great day. Historic Routt County actively is raising funds for continued progress on the project. If you are interested, please contact HRC at 970-875-1305. Submitted by: Meg Tully
