Sam Haslem has been preparing the meat for the annual Routt County Republicans Seniors Luncheon since it began 16 years ago. On Wednesday, the former Routt County Extension officer was on hand to prepare the meat and also was presented with an award for his efforts. CJ Mucklow, who recently stepped down from the position, and current officer Todd Hagenbuch also were recognized for their efforts at the luncheon.
