Javier Loya, left, and Danny Kramer stack old skis onto a trailer during the community recycling event Saturday at Howelsen Hill. There were 425 cars that came to the event packed with items to be reused or recycled. Items dropped off included 200 pairs of skis, 700 gallons of latex paint, 90 cubic yards of electronics and 200 gallons of plastic bags.
