Ayden Meschurel-Jolly, left, examines flowers in the Yampa River Botanic Park’s spring bulb garden Tuesday with classmate Owen Park. The preschoolers from the Northwest Colorado Board of Cooperative Educational Services Child Development Center took a field trip to the gardens to learn about plants and animals that frequent the grounds. The trip was funded by a grant from the Legacy Education Fund.
