Strawberry Park Elementary School first-grader Josh Wille gets his pinkie painted purple Monday afternoon by Steamboat Springs High School Rotary Interact Club member Marnie Buckley. The Rotary Club of Steamboat Springs organizes the Purple Pinkie Project as part of Rotary International’s ongoing effort to eradicate polio from the world. In Steamboat Springs on Monday, children who made a donation of $1 or less had their pinkies painted as part of a symbolic showing of support for the project.
