The Spellin' Fellas, from left, Gene Cook, Zach Schmidt and Mike Schmidt display their submission for the word autochthonous Saturday at the Community Spelling Bee. The team previously had challenged the spelling of a word that knocked it out of the preliminary round, and the challenge proved successful as spelling bee organizers decided to redo the round.
