Milner rancher Diane Holly talks about her father and uncle during Friday's Brown Bag Lecture Series "Ranching and Skiing, Hitchens Style" at the Tread of Pioneers Museum. Holly is the daughter of Errold Hitchens, who was a longtime rancher and well-known Steamboat Springs character.

The brothers Errold and Melvin Hitchens could not have been more different from each other in their approaches to work and horses, which were one and the same in the 1930s and '40s in Routt County.
