Drivers commuting along Routt County Road 129 north of Steamboat Springs found dangerous conditions as a winter storm created slick roadways and limited visibility. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue responded to this two-car accident just past the intersection with C.R. 44 at about 5 p.m. Monday.

With the amount of damage I would say it is more like dangerous drivers.

It was slick yesterday afternoon but I think we have all become complacent in our winter driving because we have just not had winter conditions. It's like that first snowfall in October when it seems everyone has forgotten how to drive.
