TIC Holdings is expected to maintain its presence in Steamboat Springs for the foreseeable future, according to a January newsletter to Steamboat-based TIC employees.

The company that was founded here in 1974 will keep about 145 employees at its west Steamboat complex, an official confirmed Thursday. TIC once had as many as 220 employees based in Steamboat Springs.
