Steamboat architect Jan Kaminski, of Mountain Architecture Design Group, designed the front portion of the Horizons Specialized Services apartment building to resemble twin Old Town Steamboat bungalows.

Since Horizons received a $1.27 million federal grant in November 2011, the nonprofit has raised another $423,000 from other granting sources, allowing it to proceed with the apartment building.
