A skier cuts down the face of Howelsen Hill on Saturday during the Holiday Classic slalom races in Steamboat Springs. The three days of racing drew a large contingent of Steamboat Springs athletes, and those skiers and their coaches say the weekend's success was a great sign for the local alpine racing program.
