The Belton family, from left, Christy, Matt and Tell, were recognized by the Routt County Conservation District for taking good care of the land and ranch headquarters they lease along Routt County Road 129 about 10 miles north of Steamboat Springs.

For their conservation and agriculture efforts, Matt and Christy Belton along with their son, Tell, have been named Ranchers of the Year by the Routt County Conservation District.
