The cans, sponsored by local businesses, are part of an effort to make Steamboat a little greener and protect the scenic beauty of the area.

Leadership Steamboat installs permanent recycle bins on Lincoln
On Wednesday morning, members of the Leadership Steamboat Class of 2012 installed new recycling receptacles along Lincoln Avenue. The metal bins cost $1,500 each, with local businesses and organizations contributing.
