Kati More, the woman accused of stealing as much as $25,000 in cash from an ex-boyfriend in March, was sentenced to three months in Routt County Jail.
Kati More on Friday pleaded guilty to misdemeanor criminal mischief related to the accusation that she stole as much as $25,000 in cash from her former boyfriend in March.
Kati More, 38, waived her right to a preliminary hearing in Routt County Court on Wednesday. Her case will now move to District Court, where a hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. May 31.
Klett charged with 1st-degree assault
The District Attorney’s Office chose not to file an attempted murder charge against Steamboat Springs resident William “Billy” Gustav Klett, 44, after a March 3 incident with his wife. Instead, the most serious charge is first-degree assault, a Class 3 felony.
Kati More admitted last year to taking Loggers Lane Owners Association money
Kati More, who was in the news last year for taking money from the Loggers Lane Owners Association, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of an unrelated felony theft.
