Local artists, from left, Judy Jones, Denise Bohart Brown and Wendy Kowynia will be featured this month at the Artists’ Gallery of Steamboat. The show, Fused Elements, is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the downtown gallery.

Steamboat artists branching out
In her final art show in Steamboat Springs, photographer Judy Jones wanted to try something new. Before she leaves the Yampa Valley after five years as an artist with the Artists’ Gallery of Steamboat, Jones decided to branch out from her traditional wildlife photos into broad landscapes depicting the pastoral and mountain views.
