Del Herman sentenced for March incident in Indian Trails neighborhood
Del Herman will serve 10 consecutive days in Routt County Jail for fatally shooting a dog in March, on top of other penalties. On May 24 as part of a plea agreement, Herman pleaded no contest to aggravated cruelty to animals, a Class 6 felony, and reckless endangerment, a Class 3 misdemeanor.
