Skier and filmmaker Kerry Lofy will premier his latest outdoor film during the Steamboat Mountain Film Festival at 7 p.m. Saturday at Ghost Ranch Saloon.

Appalachian Ski Mountain boasts 365 vertical feet and some of the best man-made snow in North Carolina. But as Steamboat Springs resident Martin Clay’s home ski area, the small hill has a mountain of meaning. It’s where he learned to ski and where he first began filming his winter stunts with his friends.
