Tyler Johnson, middle, has adapted to life after losing both his feet to meningitis in June 2008. Prosthetic legs allow him to run and keep up with his sixth-grade classmates at Steamboat Springs Middle School.

Tyler Johnson is back on his new feet
Tyler lost his feet and part of one hand after contracting meningitis in June 2008. The boy who is going on 12, is now running, playing and being a typical child, which doctors say is the best form of physical therapy.
