Steamboat woodworkers find new uses, designs for beetle-killed wood

The abundance of beetle-killed pine in the area is stirring the creativity of local woodworkers, who are finding a wide variety of uses for the low-cost, distinctive lumber. Recent logging projects in North Routt County, on Mount Werner and across Steamboat Springs, are producing large quantities of beetle-killed wood.
