Late rally is not enough as boys team falls at home
Streaky play was the rule in Saturday evening’s showdown between the top two boys basketball teams in the Western Slope League. Glenwood Springs’ streaks proved better, however, and the Demons built plenty enough of a cushion to withstand a late Sailors surge, winning 57-52 and locking up the league championship.
