Richard Friedman, of Chadwick Real Estate Group, took the stand in Routt County District Court on Tuesday to rebut allegations that he owes First Land Development more than $289,000 in a lawsuit related to complex real estate dealings that are a backdrop for one of the most high-profile arrests in Steamboat Springs’ recent history.
