Hayden Elementary students, from left, Shawnau Austin, Kacie Babcock and Ramziz Estrada play a game during a field trip to Yampatika's Environmental Learning Center at the Legacy Ranch on the east side of Steamboat Springs. The game, in which students pretended to be deer, food, water or shelter, demonstrated how deer survive in their habitat based on resources.
