Melissa Lynk, a Minnesota resident who was in Steamboat Springs for Thanksgiving vacation, dishes out food for Steamboat Springs resident Edgar Moreno at last year’s Routt County United Way Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the Steamboat Springs Community Center. Food donations still are needed for this year’s community dinner.

Food donations still sought for annual Thanksgiving dinner
The annual Routt County United Way Community Thanksgiving Dinner is a great way for people in the community to come together to enjoy a hot plate of food and friendly company, but its success relies on volunteers who staff the event and provide the prepared, donated food.
