Pamela Williams walks into the Routt County Justice Center on Tuesday morning for sentencing. Williams pleaded guilty in December to felony theft and forgery charges for her role in embezzling an estimated $1.3 million from the Steamboat Springs branch of Alpine Bank and some account holders. Prosecutors are calling the embezlement the largest known theft in Routt County history.

Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue workers load a patient into an ambulance following a two-car accident at the intersection of U.S. Highway 40 and Routt County Road 44 on Tuesday morning. Craig resident Jesus Dominguez, 19, rear-ended an SUV that had stopped to turn onto C.R. 44. Neither Dominguez nor the driver of the Chevrolet sustained serious injuries, despite the severity of the crash.
