Students in Robin Bush's sixth-grade class in Hayden gather around the computer of Tim Lim, an engineer with the National Center for Atmospheric Research, minutes after releasing a weather balloon. The balloon was transmitting data about pressure, temperature, wind speed and location back to Lim's computer.
