Traffic in Steamboat Springs ground to a halt Sunday morning as cattle took over the street. The annual Saddleback Ranch Cattle Drive sent a herd of longhorns from the west end of downtown to the Brent Romick Rodeo Arena near Howelsen Hill.

The city-owned hybrid bus was added to the fleet in the winter and has been used on a number of routes in Steamboat Springs. The city plans to purchase two more hybrid buses with the help of federal grants.
