Bud Werner Memorial Library children's librarian Currie Meyer reads a card given to her by 4-year-old Lucas Smith, of Steamboat Springs, on Friday afternoon in the children's department at the library. The library invited people to come say goodbye to Meyer, who is moving to Fort Collins after eight years at the Steamboat library.

Dozens of local children and parents gathered in the children's section of Bud Werner Memorial Library on Friday to say goodbye to Currie Meyer, who is leaving after eight years as the youth services librarian.
