Rebekah LaDue, shown here in November at Joint Base Balad in Iraq, was flown out of the country last week because of debilitating migraines. She is expected to return to Hayden in February.

Steamboat Springs High School 2003 graduate Joel Adams, who spent the past four years as a walk-on for the University of Colorado football team, was nominated for The Rudy Award. He also is a candidate for the Pappy Walfdorf Award, given to the best walk-on player.

Tommi Weeden has been named executive director of Routt County Habitat for Humanity. Weeden has held the interim position since an alleged theft by the former executive director in September.
