Owner Stephen Sanders said the store is trying to liquidate its merchandise and will close soon. Sanders, who also owns and operates Stephen's Furs and Outerwear in Torian Plum Plaza, said the downtown store's layout isn't ideal, but no matter the design, customers simply aren't spending money on higher-end clothing. "These days, it's fashionable to be frugal," he said.
