Executive Sous Chef Matt Elkins and Executive Chef Jon Demel, of the Sheraton Steamboat Resort Hotel, unload $2,500 worth of donated food Tuesday at the LIFT-UP of Routt County facility. The Sheraton is closed for seasonal cleaning and maintenance until June 4. Demel said he could not hold the food until the hotel reopens and decided to donate it to charity.
