Hayden Police Chief Ray Birch is serving his second tour in Iraq with the Air Force Reserves. He has been in the country since summer and expects to return in February.

The lines of lane markers near Third Street and Lincoln Avenue were set up to help drivers navigate the complicated traffic zone. However, some drivers have been unable to avoid accidents in the area. On Monday, three cars ran into one another, after a car stopped to turn into the Old Town Hot Springs.

Ken Anders, the project manager for Hurst & Burr Mechanical overseeing the South Routt School District's new heating system, explains how the recently installed biomass boilers will provide heat once the system comes on line later this week. The school moved away from coal-fired boilers last spring. The schools spent the summer retrofitting the campus in Oak Creek with a newer environmentally friendly system that uses heat pumps and biomass to fuel the school's heating systems.
